In addition, Asmar Wood engineered hardwood floors come with a wear and finish warranty, according to the following product collection grade:
- Collection grade: Better; 15-year finish and wear warranty
- Collection Grade: Superior/ Best; 25-year finish and wear warranty
These warranties, which begin from the date of purchase, apply to products used in dry residential applications. Lifetime warranties apply for as long as the original purchaser owns and resides in the home where the product was installed.
What the Asmar Wood Engineered Hardwood Flooring Limited Warranty covers:
Asmar Wood company warrants to the original purchaser that its face surface wear layer will not peel off, wear through, or delaminate for the indicated period of time, from the date of purchase.
Lifetime Structural Integrity Warranty
Asmar Wood warrants that these engineered hardwood floors, in their manufactured condition, will be free from defect in material and workmanship including milling, assembly, dimension and grading. Asmar Wood additionally warrants that these engineered hardwood floors will not warp, cup, buckle or delaminate when properly installed and maintained according to Shaw's installation procedures.
Lifetime Moisture Protection Warranty
All Asmar Wood Engineered floors products, are warranted against warping , cupping, buckling and releasing from the subfloor due to subfloor moisture. Note, we will repair or replace such floors one time due to subfloor moisture problems. We can only conclude that a second failure is due to site related problems. It is required that our installation instructions, including the proper testing for subfloor moisture problems, be followed in order for this warranty to be valid.
